Megahn Daily - 3rd Grade Teacher
I am a third grade teacher at Heritage Elementary School. While this is my fourth full year of teaching in my own classroom, I have been working within the Unified School District of De Pere since 2014. I completed a wonderful eighteen-week student teaching experience at Heritage in a fourth grade classroom, worked as a daily substitute throughout all three elementary schools in the district, and was hired as a long-term substitute at Altmayer Elementary to finish out the school year as a fourth grade teacher. Throughout the past few years, I have learned a great deal about myself as an educator, and I am very excited to continue growing in my profession every day.
I grew up in Oak Creek, Wisconsin where my love for school and learning began. After high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Middle Childhood-Early Adolescence. When I’m not teaching, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my wonderful family and friends. I also enjoy reading, being outdoors, practicing yoga, dancing, listening to music, and playing with my puppy!
In my classroom, we will embrace academic challenges, as well as celebrate our successes every day. I am confident that this year will be a terrific journey for everyone, and I can’t wait to share my passion for learning with your third grader!
