About Mrs. Beckman
This is my eleventh year at Heritage Elementary School. I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2010 with a dual major in both elementary and special education. I started my career as a special education teacher for three years and I was also a 2nd grade teacher for five years. As the current Dean of Students, I support both the students and staff at Heritage Elementary. I enjoy working with all students and getting to know them as individuals. My favorite part of my job is welcoming students and showing all students that they are a valued and important part of our learning community. I hope to instill a love of learning in all students and make school a fun, interesting place for every child. I strive to showcase every child's unique gifts and teach students how they can use their strengths to help them in their educational career. I love meeting new families so make sure to reach out and say hello if you see me out and about in the building.
I married my husband, Adam, in August of 2016 and we are blessed to have two sons. Having two young boys to chase after keeps me very busy but we love exploring new areas and going on adventures as a family. I was born and raised in Green Bay so I am an avid Packers fan and spend many weekends cheering on the Pack! When I am not at school I love to spend time outdoors but also don't mind a fun movie night during the weekend. I consider myself lucky to work in such an amazing school district with fantastic schools, students, and families.
